For Students in Kindergarten to 5th Grade (students will be grouped by age)
In Studio Art camp at USARTS
Our in-studio art camps focus on learning the fundamental drawing and paintings skills in a friendly and creative environment. All art classes are taught by professional artist. In the afternoons students will engage in academics, hands on crafts, socializing, physical exercise and games.

USARTS Camp Daily Schedule
This camp is hosted on location at USARTS Education Center
Students may come as early as 8:30am for free reading time. Maximum class size 8 students for younger age and 10 for older age.
Camp Class schedule: Monday to Friday
9:00am to 12:00pm Art class (with half hour break)
12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch
1:00pm - 4:00pm: Academics, Crafts, Socializing, Physical exercises, and Games.
4:00 pm -6:00 pm: Extended Day- Art Class ( additional $50 fee) Please note we close 4pm on Tuesdays
Art Camp Tuition:
Half Day, 9am -12pm: $195 // week or use classes from yearly registration
Full Day, 9am-4pm: $270 //week or use classes from yearly registration
Clay camps: Additional $50 fee for clay, glaze, and firing
Extended Day, 4:00 pm -6:00 pm: - Art Class ( additional $50 fee per day or use one additional class from yearly session) Please note we close 4pm on Tuesdays
Priority registration is available for students signing up for the full week! Registration for individual days available starting Sunday before the camp starts. Daily drop-in rate is $75( Half Day) or $100 (Full Day) .
Lunch: $8/ day. Mon: Chicken nuggets, Tues/Thurs: Turkey sandwich or Grilled cheese sandwich, Wed/Fri: Cheese Pizza…..all lunches will include fruits and 100% fruit juice.
Cancelations: There will be a $35 or one class cancelation fee if cancel one week ahead. There will be a $100 or two classes cancelation fee if canceled less than one week ahead by 8pm on the Saturday before camp starts. If canceled after 8pm on the Saturday before the camp starts or after the camp started, there will be no credit or refund.

Thanksgiving Art Camps - November 23–25
Clay & Ceramics Camp | Grades K–2
9:00 AM–12:00 PM | Ms. Dee
Three days of hands-on clay exploration! Students will create their own ceramic pieces while learning pinching, coiling, scoring and slip, then bring them to life with underglazes and glazes. They’ll also discover how a kiln transforms clay into finished ceramic art.One day will include a special introduction to wheel throwing, with hands-on teacher assistance.
Creative Materials Art Camp | Grades 2–5

Three days, three materials, and lots of room to experiment! Each day students will discover a different medium and create a new artwork inspired by artists from around the world
Day 1 — Colorful Chalk Pastels
Blend, layer, and experiment with color while looking at the beautiful pastels of Degas and Berthe Morisot.
Day 2 — Ink & Nature
Experiment with walnut ink and pen & ink, creating nature-inspired drawings influenced by Albrecht Dürer and Chinese painter Guo Xi.
Day 3 — Acrylic Painting
Create a colorful painting of a favorite object while learning the basics of color mixing, composition, and brushwork.
Winter Camp I | December 21–23
Creative Art Camp | Grades K–2

Day 1 — Color Explosion! | Oil Pastel + Colored Pencil
Bold colors, playful shapes, patterns, and layers! Students will explore the imaginative world of Paul Klee while creating a bright artwork of their own.
Day 2 — Watercolor Magic | Japanese Art
Let watercolor flow! Students will experiment with beautiful washes, brushstrokes, and nature while discovering the elegant paintings of Ogata Kōrin and Japanese Rinpa art.Day 3 — Paint, Cut & Create! | Acrylic + Collage
Paint it, cut it, tear it, move it around, and put it back together! Looking at Romare Bearden, students will create colorful painted papers and turn them into their own layered mixed-media artwork.

Day 1 — Color, Pattern & Imagination | Oil Pastel + Colored Pencil
Explore bold color, line, pattern, and layering through the imaginative compositions of Paul Klee.
Day 2 — Watercolor in Motion | Japanese Art
Explore flowing washes, expressive brushwork, nature, and negative space while discovering Ogata Kōrin and the Japanese Rinpa tradition.
Day 3 — Paint It. Cut It. Rebuild It! | Acrylic + Collage
Looking at Romare Bearden, students will paint their own papers and cardboards, then cut, tear, layer, rearrange, and combine them with acrylic to create an original mixed-media composition.
Winter Camp II | December 28–30
Creative Art Camp | Grades K–2 | Ms. Camille
Day 1 — Walnut Ink + Markers | Lines Come Alive
Draw, brush, and add pops of color! Students will explore the energetic lines and patterns found in Van Gogh’s ink drawings, then bring their own drawings to life with colorful markers.
Day 2 — Charcoal + Chalk Pastel | My Favorite Toy
Bring a favorite stuffed animal or toy from home! Students will look closely at shape, light, and shadow while drawing their special object in charcoal, then bring it to life with colorful chalk pastels.
Day 3 — Acrylic Painting | Rainbow Bakery
Cakes, cupcakes, frosting, and lots of color! Looking at the playful cake paintings of Wayne Thiebaud, students will create their own colorful bakery painting while exploring color mixing, brushwork, shapes, and shadows.
Creative Art Studio | Grades 2–5 |Teacher TBD
Day 1 — Walnut Ink + Markers | Line & Movement
Explore the expressive marks and textures of Van Gogh’s ink drawings, combining fluid walnut ink with selective pops of marker color.
Day 2 — Charcoal + Chalk Pastel | A Personal Still Life
Bring a favorite stuffed animal or meaningful object from home. Students will begin with observational charcoal drawing, exploring form, value, light, and shadow, then introduce chalk pastel for color and atmosphere.
Day 3 — Acrylic Painting | Cakes & Color
Looking at Wayne Thiebaud’s colorful cake paintings, students will create their own sweet still life while exploring composition, color relationships, brushwork, light, and shadow.

Activities
Art Class
Students will develop creative and artistic skills in art classes. They will be drawing and painting using different mediums taught by our professional art instructors.
Academics
Based on their grade and individual levels, students will review what they've learned in the past and learn something new to help kick off the coming year. Subjects include math, English, social Studies and science.
Crafts
Crafts are an invaluable part of our day as students will enhance their creativity through hands-on projects.
Physical Exercises
Each day students will get physical exercise that involve fun and engaging games, nature walks and outdoor drawing (weather permitting).
